During class this morning, my friend Sara leaned over and whispered a question to me. What I loved about this moment was how it sounded so casual...as if she was simply asking if I wanted to go to dinner tonight or shopping or for a walk. But Sara asked,
Hey, do you want to go to Haiti on Saturday?
YES!
The day after tomorrow. Back to Haiti. Away from stresses about my future. Nearer to God. Yes, I think I will go to Haiti on Saturday. Sounds like the perfect way to remember the Sabbath.
