Here's the latest, as well as best, funniest, & meanest rejection I've received from a church where I've sent my PIF. After a brief thanks for your interest and we've called another candidate the email reads:
"I hope you find a call that makes you as happy as we are with our candidate."
Ouch.
Fortunately I'm at a point where I found this funny. I may soon be able to write a book about how NOT to reject a potential employee. But seriously, I'm hoping for a little more grace as I continue in this process of searching for a call.
