Sweet sounding words to this northern girl trapped in the south by call and purpose. Today it is cold. Truly and wonderfully cold. We even saw a few fluttering snow flakes last night. Yay for winter! And scarves and sweaters and warm blankets and mittens and hot chocolate!
And to those I've seen sans jackets this cold and blustery day...don't be a hero...it's cold, wear a jacket...you're not impressing anyone except the pneumonia germs waiting to make themselves at home in your chest.
As for the rest of us...stoke the fire, light some candles, wrap up in warm toasty blankets and fuzzy sleep socks, drink warm beverages. And most definitely, please bring in your pets and plants!
