I am very much looking forward to:
- Visiting with family & friends
- Cold weather! (I'm so not a fan of the recent days of record high's here in GA)
- Snow! (Seriously people, I'm wearing shorts right now. It's just wrong.)
- Decorating the Christmas tree
- Listening to Christmas music favorites
- Giving gifts
- Baking cookies
- Sleeping late
- Homemade donuts on Christmas morning
- Homemade soup on Christmas Eve
- Lounging in rooms lit only by candles and Christmas lights
- Worshiping without leadership responsibilities
- Singing Silent Night by candlelight
And whatever else this break may bring. May you have a blessed holiday season full of peace, love, and joy!
